The story

Racing through the streets

The Monaco Grand Prix is a Formula 1 race on the public streets of Monaco. The first race was in 1929, organised by the Automobile Club de Monaco. It was on the calendar in 1950, the first season of the Formula 1 World Championship.

The track is very narrow, and overtaking is difficult. The race is also one of the three events of the unofficial Triple Crown of Motorsport, together with the Indianapolis 500 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
